2012 Survey: "How Churches Are Encouraging Discipleship and Spiritual Formation."
This project, sponsored by the Protestant Church-Owned Publishers Association of which Judson Press is a member, received surveys from more than 2,300 congregations from 15 different denominations. LifeWay Research conducted the survey on our behalf.
Here are "snapshots" of the survey results which address:
- The value of Sunday school for children and youth
- The desired outcome of ministries of discipleship for children, youth, and adults
- Integrating video and technology in teaching
- The format of today's Sunday school resources
- Approaches to spiritual development
We realize that Sunday school curriculum is not something you purchase "sight unseen." With that in mind, Judson Press is pleased to offer free sample lessons for most of the curricula we offer. To download a lesson, click on the link to the individual curriculum below. This will take you to the description page for the curriculum and the list of available sample lessons.
NOTE: Before you start reviewing samples, be sure to order a copy of Nancy Ferguson's Christian Educators' Guide to Evaluating and Developing Curriculum. It will take you through the evaluation process in a step-by-step manner that ensures what you select will best fit the specific needs of your church.
