Rosalie Hall Hunt is a sought-after speaker and preacher, and performs missions monologues for churches, conferences, and conventions. The daughter of missionary parents in China, Hunt is a retired Baptist missionary, and has taught in Myanmar (formerly Burma), South Asia, Australia, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

Hunt was the chairperson of the Alabama WMU Board of Trustees (2000-2004), and is a member of the Board of Directors of The Alabama Baptist. Through 2007 she is serving as president of the Alabama Woman's Missionary Union.

Hunt holds an M.S degree in Counseling and M.A. degrees in English and Speech Communication. Since the publication of Bless God and Take Courage, she has been awarded honorary doctorates from Judson College in Elgin, IL and Judson College in Marion, AL.
