A self-described “traveler for peace,” Daniel L. Buttry has lectured and preached in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe. He has mediated in peace processes in Myanmar (formerly Burma) and in Nagaland in Northeast India and has done conflict transformation training in 18 countries, including the United States, India, Indonesia, Liberia, Congo, Russia, Italy, Nepal, and Nicaragua. Dan is the author of four books, and has written numerous articles for magazines and journals worldwide.
